I supported Ultrix as a college student at North Carolina State University in
Raleigh, NC USA during the late 80s.

I have been messing around with ULTRIX for a really long time, but
obviously it is now one of those systems that has been largely forgotten.
A few people still run a collection of DECstations and VAXen.
Some also play with ULTRIX on emulators.

For me, personally, a DECstation 5000/260 is kind of the white whale
I have been chasing forever. It's the one model I could never get.
So yes, some of us are still around.
The oldest ULTRIX thing I have around would be a DECstation 5000/200
running ULTRIX 3.1D. I can still read Usenet with it. This machine
and OS should be from 1990 or so...
